Budo-Nord Aikido Apparel Kodomo

Probably the most common beginner's uniform in Sweden.
Crafted from a cotton canvas with a jacket in a traditionally patterned "judo fabric". The collar has been adapted in order to provide the younger practitioners with a good opportunity for gripping practice.
Kodomo-Kids (size 100-140) is intended for younger practitioners. Kodomo-Kids has got the same jacket att the "regular" Kodomo but the trousers are of a simpler design without the drawstring waist.
Budo-Nord Kodomo was originally developed as a beginner's judo gi. The Kodomo is an excellent judo uniform for youngsters and beginners, but it can also be used as an ju-jutsu uniform (jiujitsu) within jujutsu styles that contain elements of fighting (the gi is mainly intended for beginners and youngsters within jujutsu as well).

The kodomo is also a popular aikido uniform, and is used by both beginners and very experienced practitioners. For BJJ (Brazilian Ju-Jutsu) we would like to recommend the Budo-Nord Komodo for children up to the age of 13.
The uniform features our "standard gi" cut (please view sketch and explanation by klicking the "size guide"-tab).
The uniform is delivered complete with jackets, pants and a white belt.
When choosing between sizes, please consider the fact that the trousers may shrink 3-5% during the first washing. The length of the sleeves and the torso of the jacket may shrink by the same percentage. Other dimensions are hardly affected at all.
